Why Sirius Mathematics?

Reorganized Math Topics into Modules

All math courses have been organized into descriptive modules and topics that follow a logical sequence and are vertically aligned between grade levels.

For example, a portion of Grade 6 Mathematics is shown below shows Module 1 subdivided into topics that include Readiness and Supporting TEKS.

This new organization helps teachers see the bigger picture with topics and relevant grade-level TEKS. The more important Readiness TEKS are listed first, and each includes 6 or 7 assignments that teacher can “bulk” assigned together.

And teachers can access previous grade-level courses and more quickly find relevant resources for review and reinforcement of prerequisite TEKS.

10 Days to STAAR Success – Algebra I EOC

This new 10 Days to STAAR Success mini course for Algebra I helps students become better STAAR problem solvers by working through the 40 most-tested problems, and includes:

All Readiness TEKS–4 days of interaction, practice, and daily quizzes
Pre- and Post Readiness TEKS tests–see progress and boost confidence
Key Supporting TEKS with interaction, practice, and a quiz
STAAR Practice Test–a full-length authentic STAAR-like test to help build stamina

Advanced Mathematics – Middle School

Sirius Advanced Mathematics courses help schools implement SB 2124 and the Sirius Advanced Mathematics courses are designed to support the TEKS that were approved by the State Board of Education in April 2025. Advanced Mathematics Grades 6 and 7 courses are available for 2025-2026, and Advanced Mathematics Grade 8 course will be available for 2026-2027.
