Math Grades 6-8—New Non-Multiple Choice Items
STAAR scores show that students struggle with the new math question types, which account for over 30% of the points on a STAAR math test!
To help, Sirius is adding an Extra Non-Multiple Choice STAAR Practice assignment for each Readiness TEKS. These new assignments include 4 or 5 authentic STAAR 2.0 problems with Hints on the content and the question type.
The STAAR 2.0 test format demands more than multiple-choice responses—students must demonstrate problem-solving and reasoning skills in a variety of question types.
